Rider Critically Injured in Oxnard Bicycle Crash at Bard and Saviers Roads
Oxnard, California (October 10, 2019) – A bicycle rider was hospitalized with major injuries following a traffic collision involving two vehicles on Wednesday afternoon in Oxnard.
According to the authorities, the crash happened at about 1 p.m. October 9, at Bard and Saviers roads.
Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection and the impact caused a pickup truck to roll over, hitting a bicyclist.
Bicycle Rider Hurt in Oxnard Truck Crash
The rider was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver for the rollover truck was also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
No further details were released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
