Oxnard Collision on Wooley Road near Deckside Drive Sends 4-Year-Old Girl to Hospital
Oxnard, California (February 26, 2021) – An Oxnard Collision that took place on Thursday morning sent a 4-year-old girl to the hospital.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Wooley Road just east of Deckside Drive at around 8:10 a.m. February 25
The accident happened when a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a woman on westbound Wooley Road, at a high rate of speed, swerved off onto the north sidewalk of Wooley Road for unknown reasons.
The Jeep then hit a light pole, tree, and block wall in the process.
Girl Hospitalized after Oxnard Car Accident
Due to the impact, the 4-year-old girl was ejected from the Jeep and sustained serious injuries.
The child and the female driver were transported to Ventura County Medical Center for medication.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
