Man Dies in Oxnard Bicycle Accident at Saviers Road and Iris Street
Oxnard, California (March 22, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle in Oxnard on Thursday night, according to the authorities.
The incident happened near Saviers Road and Iris Street at about 8:10 p.m. March 21.
Police said a 2007 grey Kia Rio was traveling southbound on Saviers Road when it crashed into a bicyclist who entered into its path.
Bicyclist Dies in Oxnard Car Crash
The victim was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The 18-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed at the scene.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
Police are investigating the crash.
