Rider Critically Injured in Orangevale Motorcycle Accident at Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue
Orangevale, California (August 29, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a traffic collision in the area of Orangevale on Wednesday night.
The motorcycle collision was reported at about 8:00 p.m. August 28, in the area of Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue.
A California Highway Patrol report indicated that a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle of unspecified type at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Motorcycle and Car Accident in Orangevale Wednesday, August 28
The rider sustained severe injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics along with Fire department officials who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck. The wounded party was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The identity and current condition of the patient have not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
