Ontario, California (March 20, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized after a traffic collision Tuesday night in the area of Ontario, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The collision happened at around 8:34 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, on Highway 60 and Archibald Avenue.

As per the report, two vehicles including a big rig crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. A driver involved in the collision was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment moderate injuries.

The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately released.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lane 3 and 4 following the collision. All lanes were opened as of  9:32 p.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

An investigation is underway.
