Omar Kenyatta Killed in Los Angeles Car Crash at Figueroa Street and 37th Street
Los Angeles, California (November 15, 2020) – A Hawthorne man was killed in a rollover collision in Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just after midnight in the area of Figueroa and 37th streets.
42-year-old Omar Kenyatta was driving a Range Rover when he lost control and crashed into a tree near USC.
The Los Angeles Police Department said Kenyatta was killed in the accident.
A passenger in the car was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
