Randall King Killed in Orange County Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway Near El Toro Road
Orange County, California (June 22, 2020) –71-year-old Randall King of Ojai, has been identified as the man who died following a multi-vehicle accident near El Toro Road in Orange County Saturday afternoon, June 20, the Orange County Coroner’s Office reported.
The fatal collision occurred on the 5 Freeway near the border of Laguna Hills and Lake Forest at approximately 12:40 p.m. June 22
The accident happened when a BMW traveling southbound on the 5 Freeway suddenly stopped near El Toro Road. At the same time, a Honda was behind the BMW and was followed by a Subaru operated by King.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, the Subaru managed to slow down to avoid a collision, but a Ford slammed into it.

King died at Mission Hospital while undergoing the treatment.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway to determine what caused the BMW to stop.
