Oceanside, California (April 30, 2019) – Two people were injured in a collision between two vehicles near an Oceanside intersection on Tuesday morning.

According to Oceanside police, the collision happened just before 9:30 a.m. near Rancho Del Oro Road and San Ramon Drive.

Police said a 2015 Ford Explorer and a box truck were involved in the collision.

The man driving the Ford was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The other driver was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The identities of the parties involved and the manner in which he vehicles collided were not revealed.

The crash is under investigation.
