Man Killed in Oceanside Pedestrian Accident on Oceanside Boulevard near Hoover Street
Oceanside, California (January 4, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening in Oceanside, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, January 3 on Oceanside Boulevard, just west of Hoover Street.
As per the report, the pedestrian, a 62-year-old man, was struck by a vehicle while lying in a westbound lane of Oceanside Boulevard.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the man unresponsive in the roadway with a major head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
Several motorists stopped at the scene. It was not immediately clear if the man was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
No one was arrested following the accident.
