1 Hospitalized after Oceanside Crash on 5 Freeway near Santa Fe Avenue
Oceanside, California (October 12, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Friday evening in the area of Oceanside, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 6:43 p.m. Friday, October 11, on 5 Freeway near Santa Fe Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, five vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked lane 4 following the accident.
