Minor Injuries Sustained in Oceanside Accident on 5 Freeway near Basilone Road
Oceanside, California (May 20, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash early Monday morning in the area of Oceanside, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 12:45 a.m. Monday, on southbound 5 Freeway, south of Basilone Road.
As per the report, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed all lanes following the crash.
