1 Hospitalized after Oakley Accident on East Cypress Road
Oakley, California (February 5, 2021) – One person was injured after two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon in Oakley, a local news source reported.
Police said the two-vehicle collision happened along Cypress Road on February 2
The accident involved a westbound white Toyota sedan and a white Dodge Ram pickup heading eastbound on East Cypress Road.
The truck operator reportedly swerved into oncoming traffic before sideswiping the Toyota.
Due to the impact, the Toyota sustained heavy damage, and its female motorist was pinned inside.

The trapped victim was extricated from the wreckage and then rushed to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Cypress Road was closed down on both sides as investigation and clean-up took place.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
