Fremont Woman Killed in Oakland Pedestrian Accident on MacArthur Boulevard
Oakland, California (February 27, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Oakland, according to a local news source.
At around 3:25 p.m. Thursday, February 25, emergency personnel responded to the 300 block of MacArthur Boulevard for a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
Police said a 31-year-old Fremont woman was attempting to cross MacArthur Boulevard when he was hit by a Nissan Maxima that was heading eastbound.

The woman, whose name was not immediately disclosed pending family notification, died in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately given.
The accident remains under investigation.
