Oakland, CA: Minor Injuries Sustained in Semi-Truck Crash on 880 Freeway
At Least 1 Hurt in Oakland Traffic Crash on 880 Freeway near 98th Avenue Off-Ramp
Oakland, California (February 4, 2021) – Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene of a minor injury crash Wednesday morning in Oakland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the incident happened at about 11:43 a.m. on southbound 880 Freeway, just south of the 98th Avenue off-ramp.
A black Honda Civic and a semi-truck collided for unknown reasons, as per the report.
At least one occupant of the Honda Civic suffered minor injuries in the accident. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victim.
The Honda Civic was towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the incident.
