Oakland, CA: Fatal Pedestrian Crash on High Street
At Least 1 Killed in Oakland Pedestrian Accident on High Street and Interstate Highway 580
Oakland, California (October 4, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday morning traffic accident involving two vehicles and a pedestrian that resulted in fatal injuries in Oakland.
The accident happened at about 2:00 a.m. on the High Street off-ramp of eastbound Interstate Highway 580.
According to the CHP, the manner at which the crash transpired is yet to be established.
At least one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the mishap were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
