Man Dies in Oakland Car Crash at Hegenberger and Hamilton Street
Oakland, California (February 10, 2020) – A fatal Friday night collision at an intersection in Oakland left one person dead, according to Oakland police.
The wreck took place in the area of Hegenberger and Hamilton streets shortly before 9:30 p.m. Friday, February 7.
Oakland police said a maroon Honda was traveling north on Hegenberger Street when it collided with a silver Infiniti heading east on Hamilton Street.

The 24-year-old Oakland man who was driving the Honda was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver, an 18-year-old Oakland woman, was taken to hospital with major injuries.
Alcohol was not suspected to have played a role in the collision.
The Oakland Police Department is investigating the crash.
