1 Hospitalized after Oakland Collision on Coolidge Avenue On-Ramp to Interstate 580
Oakland, California (June 10, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital after a hit-and-run collision that happened Thursday night in Oakland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 8:11 p.m. on the Coolidge Avenue on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 580.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, and one of them fled the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center as a precaution.
CHP is investigating the collision.
