Oakdale, California (February 11, 2020) – A male party was struck and killed by an alleged DUI driver in the area of Oakdale on Monday evening, a local news source reported.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian crash took place on February 10, on Highway 120.

As per the report, the male party was struck by a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Matthew Keith north on Highway 120 shortly before 7:00 p.m.

The initial report showed that the pedestrian was on the east road edge at the time of the collision.

Keith did not stop and kept on driving until around 9:30 p.m. when he called the CHP.

Man Hit and Killed by DUI Driver on Highway 120

The man died at a local hospital where he was admitted after the wreck. The name of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.

Police arrested Keith on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.

The investigation is underway.
