1 Person Killed in Norwalk Crash on 5 Freeway near Imperial Highway
Norwalk, California (February 22, 2021) – One person was killed in a Monday morning traffic accident in Norwalk, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident occurred at about noon on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway, just north of Imperial Highway.
Sadly, one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Details of what led up to the accident were not immediately available.
Two lanes of the freeway were blocked for more than three hours as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
