1 Dead, Another Critically Injured in Northridge Car Crash on North Balboa Boulevard
Northridge, California (November 1, 2020) – The Los Angeles Fire Department said one person died, and another was critically injured when two cars collided Saturday night in Northridge.
As per the report, the accident occurred at about 7:54 p.m. in the 8500 block of North Balboa Boulevard.
The report did not mention the manner and cause of the crash or the make and model of the vehicles involved.
Deadly Northridge Car Crash on North Balboa Blvd
One person was trapped inside the wreckage and died at the scene. Firefighters responded and freed the body from the wreckage.
Another person involved in the accident was hospitalized in critical condition.
Traffic was congested in the area of the accident after police closed lanes as they investigated.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
