Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 49 in North San Juan
North San Juan, Nevada County (August 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 49 in North San Juan, according to a CHP report.
The deadly crash happened at about 5:25 a.m. in front of the Brass Rail bar along Highway 49.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal hit-and-run accident remain unclear as the CHP investigates the incident. No description of the suspect vehicle was provided.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
