Rider Dies in North Hollywood Motorcycle Accident on Vineland Avenue near Vanowen Street
North Hollywood, California (June 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in a traffic accident at a North Hollywood intersection, according to a local news source.
The tragic crash happened on Vineland Avenue near Vanowen Street.
According to police, an Audi hit the motorcyclist for an unspecified reason at the North Hollywood intersection. The Audi then crashed into three parked vehicles, causing a Toyota SUV to roll over and landed onto its side.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash in North Hollywood
The force of the impact threw the motorcyclist approximately 100 feet. The rider, who has not been identified pending notification of family, was declared dead at the scene.
Police arrested the female driver of the Audi and took her to a hospital with unknown injuries.
No one was in the parked vehicles when the crash occurred.
The accident remains under investigation.
