Man Killed in North Hollywood Pedestrian Crash on 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard
North Hollywood, California (February 24, 2020) – A man died in an accident where he was hit by a vehicle on Sunday night in North Hollywood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision, which happened at around 9 p.m. February 23, took place on southbound Hollywood (170) Freeway at Burbank Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a man walked into the southbound side of the freeway and was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The name of the pedestrian was not immediately released but authorities said he was aged between 45 and 50.
Three lanes of the southbound 170 Freeway were closed as the incident was investigated.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
