At Least 1 Person Injured in North Hills Traffic Accident on 405 Freeway Off-Ramp
North Hills, California (January 15, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized Tuesday evening following a traffic collision in North Hills, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported at about 4:20 p.m. at the Roscoe Boulevard exit ramp off the southbound 405 Freeway and involved four vehicles.
Details on how the collision happened were not immediately available, but the CHP said one person was trapped in one of the vehicles that had been pushed off the road.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the trapped person. The victim was then transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The name of the patient and their condition at this time remained unknown.
As per the report, another vehicle spun 180 degrees and came to rest facing another vehicle head-on following the collision.
Further details were not immediately available. It was immediately unclear if weather conditions were a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
