1 Hospitalized with Severe Injuries after North Highlands Pedestrian Crash at Watt Avenue and Milton Way

North Highlands, California (January 7, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol said a Savemart diesel truck hit a pedestrian in a wheelchair at around 9:08 p.m. at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Milton Way.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with severe injuries.
Traffic was temporarily closed following the accident. The roadway was reopened at 9:40 p.m.
