North Highlands, California (July 23, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured following a traffic collision in North Highlands Thursday morning, July 22.

The motorcycle crash occurred at approximately 11:04 a.m. in front of 4050 Myrtle Avenue, near Harrison Street.

The California Highway Patrol did not establish the circumstances that led to the collision of a motorcycle and a Honda CRV in the morning hours.

Due to the impact, the Honda acquired front-end damage.

The rider, whose name was not revealed, sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Meanwhile, the CHP requested tow trucks to remove both vehicles from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
