Nirahn Luangrath Seriously Injured in Fatal Napa Motorcycle Accident on Knoxville Berryessa Road at Spanish Flat
Napa, California (June 24, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was seriously injured Saturday morning in a traffic accident that also killed another rider in Napa has been identified as Nirahn Luangrath, 38, of El Cerrito.
The tragic wreck occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22 on Berryessa Knoxville Road and Spanish Flat Loop.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Luangrath, drifted across the double yellow lines at the intersection and collided head-on with a 2019 Harley-Davidson driven by Gene Ogden, 70, of Fairfield.
Luangrath sustained major injuries and was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Ogden was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville, where he succumbed to his injuries Monday.
The CHP is investigating the wreck.
