Niland, California (January 3, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Niland, Imperial County, on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on East Beal Road near Cuff Road at about 7:50 p.m. January 2.
The pedestrian was reportedly walking across the roadway when he was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado.
The unidentified pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was provided.
