20-Year-Old Nia Cephas Among 4 Injured in Napa Accident at Silverado Trail and Oak Knoll Avenue
Napa, California (November 13, 2019) – One of the four victims of a major injury head-on collision that occurred Sunday night in Napa has been identified as Nia Cephas, 20, of Angwin, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at around 8:48 p.m. Sunday, November 10, at Silverado Trail and Oak Knoll Avenue.
As per the CHP, Tyler Kilpatrick, 21, of Napa, was driving a pickup southbound on the Silverado Trail when he crossed the double yellow lines to pass other vehicles and collided with an oncoming car.
The pickup then left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Nia Cephas Injured in Napa Two-Vehicle Crash
Cephas, who was a passenger in the car, and the driver were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with major injuries.
Kilpatrick was transported to Queen of the Valley while his passenger went to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield. They also sustained major injuries in the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
