1 Injured in Newhall Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Magic Mountain Parkway
Newhall, California (January 7, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision in Newhall, Santa Clarita, on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Interstate 5 Freeway near Magic Mountain Parkway shortly after 2 p.m.
The authorities said a white Nissan, a black Toyota, a gray SUV and at least one other vehicle was involved in the crash. Although the manner in which the accident occurred was not immediately established, the Toyota is reported to have sustained major rear-end damage.
One person is reported to have sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
