At Least 1 Hospitalized after Nevada City Crash at State Highway 20 and Ridgewood Road
Nevada City, California (July 24, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Nevada City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, at State Highway 20 and Ridgewood Road.
As per the dispatch, two vehicles collided head-on for reasons still under investigation.
2-Car Accident at State Highway 20 and Ridgewood Road
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash. The party was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed both eastbound and westbound lanes following the crash.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
