1 Hospitalized after Nevada City Accident on Highway 20 near Lake Spaulding Road
Nevada City, California (July 6, 2021) – A Nevada City accident involving a white Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck and a gray 2017 Toyota Prius Monday morning sent one person to the hospital.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Highway 20, west of Lake Spaulding Road.
The accident involved two vehicles that crashed on the westbound side of the highway for undetermined reasons.
Nevada City Crash Injures 1
A man riding in the Dodge sustained major injuries following the accident. The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital for medication.
The crash resulted in the closure of the westbound and eastbound lanes of Highway 20 for unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
