At Least 1 Injured in Needles Car Collision on 40 Freeway near West Broadway Street Off-Ramp
Needles, California (December 24, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury collision that happened Monday evening in Needles.
The crash took place at about 5:47 p.m. on eastbound 40 Freeway, just west of West Broadway Street off-ramp.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision.
At least one person needed to be extricated from one of the vehicles.
Responding paramedics said at least one person sustained major injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
Some lanes of the freeway were temporarily closed following the accident.
