Man Seriously Injured in Natomas Pedestrian Accident at North Freeway Boulevard and Promenade Circle
Natomas, California (September 14, 2020) – A man was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Saturday night during a sideshow in the Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento, authorities said.
The accident happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at Target parking lot near the intersection of North Freeway Boulevard and Promenade Circle.
According to the authorities, the man, a spectator in the crowd, was hit by a vehicle that was doing donuts.
The man sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital. His name and condition at this time were not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver or gray Infiniti or Nissan-style sedan.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
