Minor Injuries Reported in Natomas Car Crash on 5 Freeway
Natomas, California (January 2, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a traffic collision early Tuesday morning in Natomas, North Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, January 1, on 5 Freeway.
As per the report, a southbound driver reportedly entered the northbound lanes of the freeway and was driving in the fast lane when the car stopped near the median, and a small black sedan crashed head-on into the wrong-way driver. One of the vehicles stopped sideways in the slow lane.
Responding officers said that minor injuries were injured in the collision.
It remained unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
