Motorcyclist Hurt in National City Accident on 805 Freeway

National City, California (June 2, 2021) – A rider was hurt following a suspected hit-and-run collision early Tuesday morning in National City.
The motorcycle accident was reported at approximately 6:34 a.m., on June 1, along the Interstate 805 Freeway just north of the Plaza Boulevard freeway entrance.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a motorcycle collided with a driver in a white Dodge Dakota pickup truck that was exiting on Imperial Avenue and taking back roads while fleeing.
A black hatchback was also possibly involved in the crash.
National City Hit-and-run Crash
Due to the impact, the unidentified rider was ejected from the bike and sustained unspecified injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
