Narcissa Lichtman ID’d as Woman Killed in Oceano Dunes Crash in San Luis Obispo
San Luis Obispo, California (April 22, 2019) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed Friday night in a traffic accident involving several vehicles at a recreational area in San Luis Obispo as Narcissa Lichtman, 44, of San Jose.
The tragic accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the Oceano Dunes Recreational Area, just south of the Vent Pipe area.
Authorities said the crash involved five vehicles. The vehicles were following each other at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour when the first vehicle went off around 25-to-30 foot dune and crashed.
According to the authorities, the vehicle that was occupied by Lichtman went end over end and overturned.
Fatal Car Crash at Oceano Dunes Friday, April 19
Lichtman was rushed to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. A man and an 11-year-old girl, who were riding with Lichtman, were treated for their injuries at the hospital.
Two other victims from different vehicles were treated for minor injuries at the site of the crash.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
