Rider Critically Hurt in Napa Traffic Accident at Highway 12 and Kelly Road

Napa, California (August 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist was critically hurt in a traffic collision in the area of Napa on Wednesday morning.
The motorcycle collision was reported shortly before 9:00 a.m. August 27, in the area of Highway 12 and Kelly Road, near the Happy Family Discount store and Honrama Cellars winery.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch indicated that a white Nissan 4-door sedan and a late model Harley Davidson motorcycle collided on eastbound Highway 12 at North Kelly Road for unknown reasons.

The motorcyclist sustained a major injury in the crash. The victim was attended to by Fire department officials along with the paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck. The victim was then rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The identity and current condition of the wounded party have not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
