17-Year-Old Teen Killed in Murrieta Crash on Whitewood Road near Mapleton Street
Murrieta, California (March 29, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a late Thursday night traffic accident that killed a 17-year-old teenager in Murrieta.
The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred at about 11:11 p.m., on March 28, on Whitewood Road, north of Mapleton Street.
According to the police, a vehicle driven by the teen was traveling northbound on Whitewood Road when it left the roadway and slammed into a brick wall and a tree.
The teen was trapped in the vehicle as a result of the collision.

Sadly, the teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
