Murrieta, California (April 1, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Sunday night in the area of Murrieta, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 7:43 p.m. Sunday, March 31 at Avocado Ct and Auld Road.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles was reportedly smoking following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Debris was scattered all over the roadway.
