48-Year-Old Murat Baspehlivan Injured in Napa Car Crash on State Highway 29 near Tower Road
Napa, California (September 17, 2019) – Murat Baspehlivan, 48, of Napa was injured in a suspected DUI crash early Sunday morning in Napa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 2:08 a.m. September 15, on State Highway 29 near Tower Road.
CHP said a 36-year-old Vallejo woman was driving a 2015 Chevy Malibu southbound on northbound SH 29 when she collided with an oncoming 2019 Kia Forte sedan driven by Baspehlivan.

Both drivers were pulled out of the wreckage by the firefighters.
The two were then transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with major injuries.
CHP said alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash. The Vallejo driver was taken into custody at the hospital on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
