Rider Sustains Major Injuries in Santa Rosa Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 (Redwood Highway) near Todd Road
Santa Rosa, California (July 5, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday evening in a traffic accident in Santa Rosa, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at around 7:48 p.m. Thursday, July 4 on Highway 101 near the Todd Road on-ramp. Highway 101 is also known as Redwood Highway.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with a car for an unknown reason on the southbound side of Highway 101.

The rider sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being taken to a hospital for further medical treatment. The name and condition of the victim at this time were not immediately disclosed.
It was not immediately known if the driver of the car involved stopped or was injured as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
