La Mesa, California (September 12, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday night in La Mesa, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at about 9:55 p.m. on Interstate 8 near Highway 125.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed before rear-ending another vehicle.
