Rider Hospitalized after Junction City Motorcycle Crash at Highway 299 and Castle Road
Trinity County, California (July 24, 2019) – At least one motorcyclist was injured Saturday morning in a traffic accident at an intersection in Junction City, according to a local news source.
The crash, which was reported at about 9:21 a.m. Saturday, July 20, happened on Highway 299 at Castle Road between the Poison Gulch and the Oregon Mountain Summit.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, two motorcycles collided with a Toyota Tacoma for an unknown reason the Junction City intersection. The Tacoma sustained a broken axle following the crash.
Minor Injury Motorcycle Crash in Trinity County Saturday, July 20
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to one rider who sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. It was immediately unclear if the victim was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The name and current condition of the patient remained unknown.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
