Motorcyclist Injured in Collision at Balfour Road and Byron Highway in Brentwood
1 Injured in Brentwood Motorcycle Crash at Balfour Road and Byron Highway
Brentwood, California (October 21, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that left a rider injured in Brentwood on Tuesday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6:45 p.m. October 20, in the area of Balfour Road and Byron Highway.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle and a blue Mazda 3 collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The firefighters arrived at the scene and found a man lying in the roadway on Balfour and provided emergency care.
The unidentified rider was later flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
The collision partially blocked the roadway which was reopened about an hour later.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
