Motorcycle Officer Injured in Tenderloin Crash on Turk Street
San Francisco Motorcycle Patrol Officer Hospitalized after Tenderloin Car Accident on Turk Street
Tenderloin, California (July 24, 2019) – A San Francisco motorcycle patrol officer was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a traffic collision in the Tenderloin, police said.
The crash happened at about 12:24 p.m. in the 300 block of Turk Street.
According to the police, an officer on a tactical Honda motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Turk Street for an undetermined reason.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The officer sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
As of 1:15 p.m. Turk Street was reopened to traffic.
The crash remains under investigation.
