Pedestrian Killed in Morgan Hill Hit-and-Run Accident at Monterey Road and East Middle Avenue
Morgan Hill, California (December 12, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles while attempting to cross the road in Morgan Hill Thursday evening, according to a local news source.
At about 5:35 p.m. Thursday, December 10, emergency personnel responded to the area of Monterey Road and East Middle Avenue for a report of a pedestrian accident.
Authorities said a red compact vehicle was traveling southbound on Monterey Road when it hit the pedestrian as he was trying to walk across Monterey Road.
The impact caused the pedestrian to fall onto the roadway and was struck by a light colored Toyota pickup truck.

The pedestrian died at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Both drivers fled the scene, heading southbound on Monterey Road, police said. There were no descriptions of the two suspects.
Authorities are still searching for the two drivers.
Police blocked Monterey Road lanes for several hours for the investigation.
