5 Injured in Moreno Valley Car Accident at Cottonwood Avenue and Heacock Street
Moreno Valley, California (November 7, 2019) – Five people were hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Cottonwood on Wednesday morning.
Authorities said the crash happened at about 4:37 a.m. November 6 at the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and Heacock Street.
The accident involved three vehicles that collided at the intersection for reasons still under an active investigation. Due to the impact, one person was trapped inside one of the cars involved.
5 Hospitalized after Multi-Car Crash in Moreno Valley
The pinned victim was extricated from the wreckage by firefighters, along with the paramedics who responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
The patient was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Four other people were also taken to nearby hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, the investigation is underway.
