Minor Injuries Sustained in Monterey Park Car Crash on Highway 60 near N Garfield Avenue
Monterey Park, California (December 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Monterey Park, resulting in minor injuries.
CHP said four vehicles collided just after 2:00 p.m. on westbound Highway 60, just west of N Garfield Avenue.
Monterey Park firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries. An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer the victims medical aid.
Some lanes of the highway were blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
The cause of the crash will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
