Minor Injuries Sustained in Monterey Accident on Highway 1 near Salinas Road

Monterey, California (July 3, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in the area of Monterey, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, on southbound Highway 1, just south of Salinas Road.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The names of the injured parties and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Debris was scattered in the roadway following the crash.
